Step 1

T shows the logo-family village and ask ss predict what it is and the purpose of it. By asking ss two questions to let ss know the general topic of the lesson.

Skimming: T ask the ss to read the passage quick and find out the verb phrases about the two questions and get the general content of the text.

Read for the main idea and structure of each paragraph.

T ask ss to get the main idea of each paragraph and the text according to the mind map .

利用思维导图把每段的段落大意提炼出来进而提炼文章的主要内容。

T asks students to work out the 8　questions to learn the words about the topic and get the theme of the text .
